School Activities and Awards
I play varsity golf, serve as dance captain for Les Fons, participate in musicals, sing in choir, play in band, compete on the Quiz Bowl team, participate in Model United Nations, serve as vice president of National Honor Society, and am president of French Club/French National Honor Society. I was also recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction and have attended the Honda Academic Achievement Breakfast several times. If I were principal for a day… I would order Flying Pepper for the school and start a student-run coffee shop in the lower café. Favorite school memory… All of the musicals and Cabaret shows, especially playing Katherine in Newsies. Also, traveling to France with the French Club over the summer. People who have been an inspiration to me & why... My parents, who are both incredibly hardworking and have taught me how to be independent and responsible. Lately I have been reading... I’ve been re-reading Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. My advice to parents... Encourage your kids to get involved in something. Whether it’s a club, sport, or music, it’s the best way to make friends and enjoy high school. Let them try new things because they might discover something they love. My biggest regret... Caring too much about other people’s opinions and being afraid to meet new people. Some of my best friends I didn’t meet until my junior year, so don’t be afraid to reach out to new people or feel like you have to keep the same friends all through high school. Next year I will be... I hope to be in grad school studying either constitutional law or screenwriting. I would also love to be traveling and studying abroad in France or Scotland, and to own a mini golden dachshund. Comments are closed.
