Benjamin Logan Volleyball Teams Compete in Thursday Night Action

It was a busy night on the court for Benjamin Logan volleyball, with the varsity, 7th grade, and 8th grade squads all in action on Thursday.

The varsity Lady Raiders traveled to Bellefontaine for a local rivalry matchup but fell in straight sets to the Chieftains, 18-25, 11-25, 21-25. Stat leaders for Ben Logan included Summer Cline with 9 kills, Georgia Daniels with 6 kills, Abby Vance with 4 kills, and Kylie Harner contributing 12 assists.

At the junior high level, the 7th grade team had an impressive showing on the road at Northwestern, defeating the Warriors in straight sets, 25-22 and 25-14. The Raiders combined for 8 kills, 8 assists, 13 aces, and 4 digs in the victory.

The 8th grade squad also faced Northwestern in a competitive three-set battle. After narrowly dropping the first set 26-24, the Raiders bounced back with a dominant 25-9 win in the second. The deciding third set went to Northwestern, 25-14. Stat leaders for Ben Logan included 9 kills, 10 assists, 7 aces, and 14 digs.

All three Raider teams will look to build on their performances as the season continues.
