Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl Team Shines at National Championship

The Benjamin Logan High School Quiz Bowl team proudly represented the district at the 2025 NAQT Small School National Championship Tournament, held April 25–27 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago.

The Raiders turned in an impressive showing, finishing 21st overall out of 88 teams. After securing a strong 7-3 record during the opening day of competition, the 

team advanced to the playoff rounds. Along the way, they narrowly lost to the eventual overall tournament winner, a testament to their skill and competitive spirit. In the playoffs, Benjamin Logan faced tough matchups against Macomb, Illinois, and Gwinn, Michigan to close out their tournament run.

Senior Tristan Sheets delivered an outstanding individual performance, placing 7th out of 520 competitors in overall points. His achievement earned him the prestigious NAQT Traditional Public All-Star title for the weekend. In addition, Tristan is now officially the all-time points leader in Benjamin Logan Quiz Bowl history, leaving behind a remarkable legacy for future Raiders.
