Benjamin Logan High School Celebrates Success at Local Science Day

Last night, Benjamin Logan High School held its eagerly anticipated local science day, showcasing the incredible talents of its students in the fields of science and research. The event, organized under the guidance of Mr. Spencer Reames and Ms. Joslin Lee, highlighted the hard work and dedication of all participants.

The evening concluded with a remarkable achievement for four students who earned 
superior ratings and will advance to the Regional Science Day at Ohio Northern University on Saturday, March 22, 2025. The awardees and their recognitions are as follows:
  • Dylan Vance: Superior rating and 1st Place Environmental Award
  • Winnie Bodin: Superior rating and 2nd Place Environmental Award
  • Ella Chamberlain: Superior rating and Biochemistry Award
  • Junah Tingley: Superior rating, Microbiology Award, and Mary Rutan Award

In addition to these accolades, a total of thirteen projects were presented during the event, with the following students also participating and showcasing their scientific acumen:

Mr. Spencer Reames expressed his pride in the students' achievements, stating, "It's incredibly rewarding to see the passion and effort these young scientists put into their projects. Their success is a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment at Benjamin Logan."

Ms. Joslin Lee added, "These students have gone above and beyond in their scientific explorations. We are excited to see how they perform at the regional level and have high hopes for their continued success."

Benjamin Logan High School invites the community to continue supporting these bright young minds as they prepare for the next stage of competition. The school remains committed to providing exceptional educational experiences and fostering a love for science among its students.
