Thirteen members of the Benjamin Logan High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter recently showcased their skills at the Ohio BPA State Leadership Conference, held March 10–11 at the Columbus Convention Center.

Students competed in various contests, participated in leadership activities, and voted to elect the new Ohio BPA state officers. They also took time to unwind with dinner and an exciting escape room challenge to build teamwork and communication skills.
Before final results were announced, senior Isabella Cavallini delivered her farewell remarks as the 2024 Ohio BPA State Secretary. Reflecting on the experience, sophomore Lydia Johnson shared, “My experience was lovely. I liked being a voting delegate after competing. The environment was great, and I enjoyed being with fellow BPA members.”
Several BLHS students placed in the Top 20 of their contests:
  • Kaidyn Green – 8th in Personal Financial Management
  • Kameron Lockwood – 6th in C# Programming
  • Addison Scott, Makayla Williamson, Kearstin Linkinhoker, and Caroline Spriggs – 1st in Economic Research Team
  • Carter Lyden – 4th in Ethics and Professionalism
  • Keaten Varner – 11th in Banking and Finance
  • Paityn Anspach – 18th in Fundamental Accounting
  • Hunter Andrix – 20th in Personal Financial Management

Six outstanding members qualified for the BPA National Leadership Conference, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, from May 6–11:
  • Personal Financial Management – Kaidyn Green
