Ben Logan 7th & 8th Grade Football Recap vs. Kenton Ridge

The Benjamin Logan 7th grade football team opened their season in dominant fashion with a 34-6 victory over Kenton Ridge.

The offensive and defensive lines controlled the game from the start, allowing the Raiders to execute on both sides of the ball. Carter Crum powered the offense, rushing for 185 yards and 4 touchdowns on 18 carries. Brayden Ramos added 35 rushing yards and connected on two passes to Archer Stratton for 26 yards.

On defense, Bryson Greiner led the way with 6 tackles and a sack, while Crum, Bentley Hatmaker, and Marshall Elliott each contributed 4 tackles, keeping Kenton Ridge in check.

The 8th grade team battled hard but came up short, falling 36-0 to a strong Kenton Ridge squad. Anson Nichols led the defense with 8 tackles, while Nevada Coleman added 6 tackles. Quinn Kuba recorded 4 tackles and a sack, and Harley Alloway notched 3 tackles and forced a fumble in a gritty effort.

Both Raider squads will be back in action on Thursday, September 4th, traveling to Tecumseh.
