Bellefontaine Falls to Urbana in CBC Matchup

The Bellefontaine Chieftains came up short Friday night in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup, falling 61–46 to the Urbana Hillclimbers.

Bellefontaine was led by Jair Mundy, who finished with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Grayson Lotts added 11 points for the Chieftains.

​Urbana placed three players in double figures, paced by Kadin Underwood with 17 points. Grady Lantz contributed 14 points, 

and Drew Dixon added 12 points for the Hillclimbers.

​In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine fell 44–35, with AJ Conaway leading the Chiefs with 11 points.

The freshmen contest also went to Urbana, as Bellefontaine dropped a 57–32 decision. Matthew Dearwester and Tyrin Johnson each scored nine points for the Chiefs.

Bellefontaine will return to action Tuesday night, hosting the Shawnee Braves in another CBC matchup.
