On Tuesday, October 21, Benjamin Logan High School held its annual NHS tapping ceremony, welcoming 45 new members into the National Honor Society (NHS). The event took place at 8:00 a.m. and was organized and led by current NHS senior members, who managed all aspects of setup and presentation.
It was a championship-filled weekend for the West Liberty-Salem Cross Country program, with the Big Orange turning in dominant performances across all levels. Both the high school and middle school teams brought home major hardware — including two district titles and a state runner-up finish — continuing the school’s proud tradition of excellence in distance running.
The Benjamin Logan Middle School football teams closed out their 2025 conference season with standout performances Thursday night against CBC foe Northwestern.
7th Grade: Undefeated and CBC Champions (7-0) The 7th-grade Raiders capped off a perfect season, defeating Northwestern 22–6 to claim the CBC Mad River Division Championship. Offensively, Carter Crumm powered the team with an incredible 193 rushing yards on 21 carries and 2 touchdowns. Brayden Ramos added 15 yards on 3 carries and a 2-point conversion.
