The Benjamin Logan Middle School track and field teams turned in another strong performance Monday night at the Piqua Quad Meet, with the boys team earning a first-place finish and the girls team taking runner-up honors.

The Raider boys captured the team title with 96 points, outpacing Piqua (84), Troy (46), and Indian Lake (14). 

Bellefontaine Intermediate School has recognized its Students of the Week for April 20, highlighting students who consistently demonstrate positive behavior and a commitment to learning.

This week’s honorees include Kinlee Nelson, Alex Edwards, Elena Ball, and Tay’Lynn Dickinson. Nellie Diodati was also selected but is not pictured.

The Benjamin Logan High School baseball program delivered an exciting night of action Monday against Shawnee, with the varsity team earning a dominant win and the junior varsity squad pulling off a dramatic comeback victory.

The varsity Raiders rolled to a 12–2 win, powered by a huge performance from Tinsman, who drove in five runs on four hits. Tinsman sparked the offense throughout the game, delivering key hits in the third, sixth, and seventh innings.

Bellefontaine High School celebrated its annual prom Saturday night, with approximately 250 students attending the event held at Mad River Mountain.

This year’s theme, “A Night in Paris,” set the scene for an evening of music, dancing, and celebration.

The Lady Raiders finished with 81.5 points, narrowly edging Bellefontaine (80) and a competitive field that included Columbus DeSales and River Valley.

The Benjamin Logan High School baseball program earned a sweep over Bellefontaine on Friday, with both the junior varsity and varsity teams turning in impressive performances at Lewis Ratleff Park.

The junior varsity Raiders rolled to a 12–1 victory, powered by a massive seven-run second inning. Key contributions came from Elsasser, Little, Green, White, and Moorhouse, who all helped drive in runs during the rally.

The Raider boys dominated the meet, earning first place with 162 team points, well ahead of the competition. Strong performances across multiple events powered the victory, including first-place finishes from Kellen Woodruff (110m hurdles), Nevada Coleman (200m hurdles), Quinn Kuba (800m), Carter Crumm (400m), and Bentley Hatmaker (discus).
