Bellefontaine High School senior Ryan Alexander has been named the recipient of the esteemed Bruce E. Higham Scholarship, a highly selective award given annually to one graduating BHS male student pursuing higher education at an Ohio public university.

Alexander, who plans to attend The Ohio State University this fall to major in welding engineering, received the scholarship during a special presentation on Tuesday. He is the son of Nate and Emily Alexander and Galen and Abby Miller.
