Ohio Hi-Point Career Center recognized its 2024-25 Students of the Month during the Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Students were selected based on leadership, dependability, work ethic, communication and teamwork skills, problem-solving, and trustworthiness. Honorees are nominated and voted on by staff members.

This week’s honorees are Maelee Furr, Eternity Carter, Brien Campbell, Chloe Griffith, Ella Jenkins, and Gunnar Stratton.

These students exemplify the school's core values by consistently striving to "Be 
Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner, and Be a Chieftain."

BIS celebrates their hard work, positive attitudes, and leadership throughout the school community.

Fanaff, Campbell Crowned Bellefontaine High School Prom Royalty

Bellefontaine High School celebrated a memorable evening on Saturday as students gathered for the annual prom, held at Riverbirch Farms near Logansville.

Approximately 260 students attended the event, enjoying a night of dancing and celebration.

The highlight of the evening was the crowning of this year’s prom royalty. Senior Reese Fanaff was crowned Prom King, while Ava Campbell was named Prom Queen.

Following graduation, Fanaff plans to enter the workforce in the construction trades.

Benjamin Logan High School senior Jerrik Stephens has officially announced his commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Ohio Northern University, where he will join the Polar Bears football program.

Jerrik, the son of Kurt and Stephanie Stephens, has been a key contributor to the Benjamin Logan football team throughout his high school career. After making his varsity debut on special teams as a freshman, Jerrik quickly developed a passion for the sport and set his sights on playing at the collegiate level.
