​The Benjamin Logan High School varsity baseball team earned a 5–3 victory over Coldwater on Saturday, using a strong first inning and a complete-game performance on the mound to secure the win.

Coldwater struck first in the top of the opening inning, taking a 2–0 lead after a double by Schroer and an RBI groundout from Dues.

Benjamin Logan High School has announced its Honor Roll and Merit Roll students for the third grading period of the 2025–2026 school year, recognizing students for their academic achievement and dedication in the classroom.

Students earning a Merit Roll designation achieved a 4.0 GPA, representing the highest level of academic performance. Those named to the Honor Roll earned a 3.2 GPA or higher, reflecting strong academic success across their coursework.

Students at Benjamin Logan High School are taking a hands-on approach to learning as part of an innovative project that connects literature with real-world experiences.

In Mrs. Lane’s Advanced English 11 classes, students are exploring stories centered around food while simultaneously working in the school’s greenhouse to grow their own herbs, vegetables, and flowers.

Working in teams, students are responsible for planting, nurturing, and maintaining their crops, creating a direct connection between the themes they study in class and the processes involved in food production.

The Bellefontaine City Schools Orchestra program brought together student musicians from across grade levels for the annual All City Strings Concert, held Thursday evening in the auditorium at Bellefontaine High School.

The performance featured musicians from the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Orchestras, 

Bellefontaine Intermediate School has recognized its Students of the Week for March 23, celebrating students who consistently demonstrate leadership, character, and a commitment to learning.

This week’s honorees include LaMichael Seeger, Ana Paredes Reinoso, Heidi Butterfield, Lucas Escandela Ochoa, and Blake Engle. Eddie Poindexter was also selected but is not pictured.

Leading the way for the Lady Raiders was Bristol Blair, who delivered an impressive showing in the girls division. Competing in her first year of wrestling as a 7th grader, Blair battled through the bracket with multiple victories to earn a 2nd-place finish, an outstanding accomplishment at the state level.

Members of the Benjamin Logan High School girls bowling team were recognized for their strong performances this season as they competed in the Central Buckeye Conference (CBC) All-Star Match on Saturday, March 21 at TP Lanes.

Juniors Aubrey Zedlitz, Kaelyn Corwin, and Rylee Davis represented the Lady Raiders in the event, competing alongside top bowlers from across the conference. The All-Star format included two traditional games and four baker games, highlighting both individual and team performance.

​Benjamin Logan students demonstrated outstanding achievement at the Ohio Academy of Science Regional Science Day, held at Ohio Northern University. Competing among top student researchers from across the region, Benjamin Logan participants earned high ratings and multiple category awards for their original scientific research projects.
