The holiday season is right around the corner, and that means one thing in West Liberty — Christmas in the Village is back!

The beloved annual celebration returns with festive events, community traditions, and plenty of small-town charm to kick off the most wonderful time of the year.

Holiday Open Houses: November 7–8
The festivities begin with Holiday Open Houses, running Thursday and Friday, November 7–8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local shops will be decked out for the season, offering exclusive deals, festive décor, and cozy hospitality that make West Liberty a perfect holiday shopping destination. Visitors can stroll through downtown, find one-of-a-kind gifts, and support the small businesses that make this village shine.

Small Business Saturday: November 29
Mark your calendars for Small Business Saturday, November 29, a full day of holiday fun that celebrates shopping local and community pride.

​Shoppers won’t want to miss out on the Small Business Bags, available at Sweetie Pies starting at 10 a.m. Each bag is packed with coupons, discounts, and local goodies from area businesses — a great way to explore what makes West Liberty such a special place to shop and celebrate.

The day kicks off bright and early with the Dash Before the Game Day Bash 5K, followed by a hearty Kegs and Eggs Breakfast at Liberty Gathering Place — the perfect fuel for a day of festive fun and local shopping.

Christmas in the Village Parade: Santa Arrives in West Liberty!
As evening falls, the streets of West Liberty will come alive with lights, laughter, and holiday cheer during the Annual Christmas in the Village Parade.

The highlight of the night — Santa’s grand arrival! Families are encouraged to bundle up and line the streets to welcome him to town. After the parade, children can stop by to visit with Santa and take home a special holiday gift.

From the festive storefronts to the glow of the parade, Christmas in the Village captures everything that makes West Liberty special — small-town warmth, big community spirit, and the joy of coming together.
