West Liberty-Salem’s Caleb Larson Helps Lead Team Ohio to Mid East Championship Victory

Tiger Nation is celebrating a major accomplishment this week as West Liberty-Salem senior Caleb Larson delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Mid East Cross Country Championships in Kettering.

Larson placed 8th overall, crossing the finish line in 16:16.32 against some of the top senior runners from across the Midwest. His strong finish played a key role in helping Team Ohio secure its first team title since 2013, marking a historic moment for the Buckeye State.

A standout throughout his high school career, Larson’s success at the Mid East Championships is the latest example of his relentless dedication, competitive spirit, and commitment to excellence. Coaches, teammates, and the entire West Liberty-Salem community continue to praise his work ethic and leadership.

As he wraps up a memorable senior cross country season, Larson leaves behind a legacy that will inspire future generations of Big Orange runners.
