Universal Home Health & Hospice Honored at Logan County Veterans Luncheon

Universal Home Health & Hospice had the privilege of attending the Logan County Veterans Luncheon, a heartfelt event dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifices of local veterans. The luncheon provided a unique opportunity for Universal's Community Business Liaison to engage with veterans and their families, listening to their stories and sharing in their experiences.

"Our participation in the Logan County Veterans Luncheon was a true honor," said the liaison. "Meeting veterans and their families one-on-one was an incredibly humbling experience. It was a privilege to hear their stories—many of which were filled with both joy and sorrow."

​As part of their involvement, Universal Home Health & Hospice distributed gift bags and handwritten letters to the veterans. Over 50 individuals contributed to this initiative, writing personal messages of gratitude and appreciation. These heartfelt notes resonated deeply with the recipients, often more so than the accompanying gift bags.

"Many veterans expressed how much it meant to them that others took the time to write a message," the liaison added. "The handwritten letters were a powerful reminder of the community’s appreciation for their service."

The event underscored the importance of acknowledging and supporting veterans, many of whom have experienced profound challenges during and after their service. The gestures of gratitude from the community served as a poignant reminder of the collective respect and admiration held for these brave individuals.
