The Homestead at Logan Acres Welcomes New Director Sydnae Hurlbut

The Homestead at Logan Acres has announced the appointment of Sydnae Hurlbut as its new Director, bringing a fresh perspective and a heart for caregiving to the assisted living community.

Located across from Logan Acres on a shared campus in Bellefontaine, The Homestead offers 24 apartments designed to support residents with a range of daily living needs. With deep local roots and a strong background in healthcare, Hurlbut is poised to lead the community into its next chapter.

A resident of Belle Center, Hurlbut began her healthcare journey as a certified nursing assistant before earning her nursing degree. Her experience includes 

med/surg nursing in a local hospital and serving as the Director of Nursing at a licensed assisted living facility. Known for her advocacy of resident rights, Hurlbut is especially passionate about helping residents feel at home and ensuring they receive personalized, quality care.

“I am excited to bring my experience and heart for caregiving into my new position at The Homestead,” said Hurlbut. “I pledge to continue the Homestead’s legacy of excellence by fostering a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.”
