Logan County's Signature Volunteer Event Set for Friday, August 23

Community Care Day is back for its 9th year in 2024! On Friday, August 23, United Way invites volunteers from area workplaces, churches, and civic organizations to participate in meaningful group projects that will make a difference in the community.

This annual event will bring together hundreds of volunteers to work on hands-on opportunities organized in advance throughout Logan County. Whether you enjoy baking, building, planting, painting, cleaning, or getting your hands dirty, there will be a project suited to your interests and skills. Projects will take place at social service agencies and area parks, providing a variety of ways to contribute.

Volunteers will experience the excitement, camaraderie, and team-building that come with working together. Community Care Day not only benefits local organizations but also serves as a powerful team-building exercise, enhancing collaboration and camaraderie among participants.
