Name: Paula Paredes Reinoso
Parents: Wil and Veronica Paredes Address: Bellefontaine If I were principal for a day: I would talk to students and school staff, ask for their opinions about the management and the environment they are in, take their opinion into account, and try to find a point where we all agree. Favorite school memory: I think this school year has been one of my favorite moments at school and I know that in a few years it will be one of my best memories, not only because it is my senior year but also because I have met people who I know will stay for a long time. People who have been an inspiration to me: All the women in my family have been an inspiration to me, as the women in my family have always shown power in everything they face, and have taught me to follow my dreams as they followed theirs, with no strings attached and the motivation to get where you want to go. Another person who has been an inspiration to me is Mrs. Hiatt, an instructional coach at Bellefontaine High School, but more than that, a role model, not only for the good work she does, but for the person she is. Lately I’ve been reading: The Society of the Banana in Ohio. My advice to parents: Put yourself in your children’s shoes. I know it can be hard sometimes, but try to remember where you were as teenagers, what it was like to be a teenager, and all the lessons your children will learn over the years. My biggest regret: Not taking the time to enjoy the little moments I have with family, friends, or close people. Next year: I will be attending the University of Findlay and majoring in forensics.
