Otterbein Green Hills Hosts June 10 Blood Drive to Support Local Supply

​Otterbein SeniorLife Green Hills is calling on the community to lend an arm—and potentially save up to three lives—in just one hour. The senior living community is partnering with the Community Blood Center to host a blood drive on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from noon to 3 p.m. in Foundation Hall, located at 6557 U.S. 68 South.

Donors who participate will not only be helping to prevent critical blood shortages but will also receive a free “Local Donor” T-shirt as a thank-you gift while supplies last. The event aims to encourage residents and visitors alike to be everyday heroes by giving the gift of life.

“We often think it takes a lot to make a difference—but sometimes, it’s as simple as showing up and sitting back for a few minutes,” said event organizers. “Donating blood is easy, rewarding, and has an immediate impact.”

Appointments are recommended to streamline the donation process. Those interested in signing up can call Rebecca at 937-650-7117 or use the Donor Time app. Walk-ins will also be welcomed as space allows.
