Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Health Careers Academy and Exercise Science students invite the community to sign up for the third annual Hi-Point Hustle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, 2025. This year, the event has been renamed the Hi-Point Hustle for Hodge in honor of Chloe Hodge, a former Ohio Hi-Point and Indian Lake student who tragically lost her life in a car accident last school year. Chloe’s kindness, passion for healthcare, and dedication to helping others continue to inspire her peers. In her memory, all proceeds from the event will support the Chloe Hodge Scholarship Foundation.
“The students wanted to dedicate this year’s race to Chloe and we’re incredibly proud of them for wanting to honor Chloe, and for their hard work to organize this year’s race,” said Megan Lacher, one of the Health Careers Academy instructors at Ohio Hi-Point. The event includes both a 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Kids Fun Run:
The race will start and finish at the OHP Bellefontaine Campus, 2280 St. Rt. 540, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Community members, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate or support the event through sponsorships. Sponsorship opportunities are available, with options to donate gift cards for race winners or contribute directly to the scholarship fund.
