Additionally, students from Ohio Hi-Point’s Heavy Equipment Operations program competed at the SkillsUSA Heavy Equipment Operations contest at the Union Training Center in Logan, Ohio, on Feb. 19. All three OHP competitors qualified for the state finals:
“We are extremely proud of our students,” said Brad Richardson, OHP assistant superintendent, “They’ve worked really hard to get here, and we’re excited to see them compete at the state level.” These students will compete at the SkillsUSA Ohio Leadership Conference on March 18-19 in Columbus, where they will showcase their skills against top career-technical students from across the state.
