Case, a class of 2004 Marion Technical graduate, has been with Ohio Hi-Point for 25 years and has helped create statewide standards for the ethical use of AI in public schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. His dedication to fostering a digitally safe and innovative learning environment for students has made a lasting impact on Ohio Hi-Point and beyond. Dr. Rick Smith, the superintendent of Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, nominated Case for the Hall of Fame induction, and praised Case as "one of the smartest individuals I know," emphasizing his passion for personal growth and his unwavering commitment to encouraging students to reach their full potential.
Case expressed gratitude for the recognition and said, “I believe in the power of education to change lives. This recognition reflects the incredible support, mentors and friends I’ve gained over the years. I’m thrilled to be a part of such a distinguished group of alumni, including my mother, Pat Case,” he said. “I look forward to continuing to make an impact.” Ohio Hi-Point Career Center congratulates John Case on this prestigious achievement and is proud to have such a dedicated and visionary leader as part of its team. His induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame is a testament to his hard work, expertise, and commitment to excellence in education. Each recipient received an award. A book was added to the Marion Campus Library and a donation was made to a scholarship fund of their choice.
