7th Grade vs Graham (Wednesday)
The 7th grade Lady Raiders dominated Graham, winning in two decisive sets, 25-13 and 25-9. Maci Stafford led the team with an impressive 10 aces and 5 assists. Michaelee Hoge added 5 kills and 4 aces, while Della Baker, Mica Coaty, and Mileigh Carroll each contributed 2 kills. Leighton McBride-Haudenschield and Shelby Siefring chipped in with an assist each. The Raiders’ strong performance was a great boost heading into the weekend. 8th Grade vs Graham (Wednesday) The 8th grade Lady Raiders also swept Graham, winning 25-17 in both sets. Alivia James served up 9 points, including 3 aces, while Marley Shields added 7 points with 5 aces and 3 kills. Summer Cline had a standout performance, serving 9 points with 3 aces and adding 6 kills. A well-rounded team effort helped the Lady Raiders secure the victory. Both teams then turned their attention to the weekend match against Urbana. 7th Grade vs Urbana (Saturday) The 7th grade team battled hard against Urbana but ultimately fell short in two close sets, 16-25 and 24-26. Ruby Johns and Della Baker contributed 4 assists each, while Josie Harshfield and Molly Titlow added 3 aces apiece. Amelia Marmon led the team with 3 kills. Leighton McBride-Haunschfield and Mileigh Carroll each added a kill, while Marley Snoke led the Raiders in passing with 3 digs. Zaley Burnside and Jenna Reidmiller contributed 2 digs each. 8th Grade vs Urbana (Saturday) The 8th grade match against Urbana was a thrilling three-set contest, with Benjamin Logan narrowly losing in a nail-biting final set. The Lady Raiders won the first set 27-25, but Urbana bounced back to take the second set 14-25. The decisive third set was a heartbreaker, as Benjamin Logan lost 25-27. Despite the loss, Summer Cline had an outstanding performance, leading the team with 17 kills.
