MS Volleyball Recap: Ben Logan 7th Grade Secures Victory Over North Union; 8th Grade Falls Short in a Tight Contest

The Benjamin Logan 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams faced off against North Union with mixed results on Tuesday night.

7th Grade Recap:
The 7th grade Raiders delivered a strong performance, defeating the North Union Wildcats in straight sets, 25-13 and 25-20. Michaelee Hoge led the team with an impressive 8 kills and 3 aces, showcasing her versatility on the court. Josie Harshfield also contributed with 3 aces, while Ruby Johns added 4 more. Amelia Marmon and Maci Stafford made their presence felt with 2 kills each. Della Baker played a key role with 5 assists, and Molly Titlow chipped in with 3 assists to help secure the victory.

8th Grade Recap:
The 8th grade team battled hard but ultimately fell to North Union in a nail-biting three-set match, losing 25-20, 20-25, 22-25. Alivia James was a standout performer, serving up 10 points, including 4 aces. Summer Cline was a powerhouse at the net, racking up 15 kills and scoring 8 points. Maddie Stahl added 4 kills, while Brielle Kline, Olive Grimes, and Marley Shields each contributed 2 kills. Despite their best efforts, the Raiders came up just short in the decisive third set.
