Miami Valley Producers 4-H Club Celebrates Over 20 Years of Community Service with Litter Cleanup

​The Miami Valley Producers 4-H Club continues its long-standing tradition of community service by cleaning up litter in Logan County, reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship and local pride.

As part of their annual spring initiative, club members recently rolled up their sleeves to clear litter from the Logan County

Fairgrounds and the area surrounding Rum Creek Church. Their efforts resulted in the removal of 15 bags of trash and even a discarded ladder, leaving the locations noticeably cleaner and more inviting.

The Logan County Solid Waste District applauded the 4-H club’s work, calling it “a great opportunity for kids to learn about the area around them and keeping it beautiful.”

With more than two decades of dedicated service, the Miami Valley Producers 4-H Club has made a significant impact in keeping local spaces clean while instilling a sense of responsibility and pride in the next generation.

Their continued work sets a positive example for all residents—reminding us that preserving the beauty of Logan County starts with small acts of care and service.
