Dr. Emily Edwards is a Northeast Ohio Native and attended Cleveland State University, where she was Valedictorian of the College of Sciences & Health Professions, as well as Summa Cum Laude from the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Honors College. Dr. Edwards earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science in 2017. She then chose to pursue a degree in Podiatric Medicine, and in 2021, she earned her medical degree (DPM) from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Edwards completed her three-year surgical residency in Lima, Ohio, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, where she trained in a multitude of forefoot and rearfoot procedures, as well as wound care.
