finish line,” said Anna Louden, Logan County Visitors Bureau Director. “Whether it’s a mural, wayfinding signage, or a larger project that enhances our area’s appeal, we are excited to invest in ideas that make Logan County an even better destination for visitors.”
The grant is open to both community groups, individual businesses, or non-profits, as long as the proposed project is tourism-focused and designed to attract or benefit visitors. Examples of eligible projects include murals and public art installations, beautification efforts, wayfinding signage, business or community signage, and larger-scale initiatives that enhance Logan County’s tourism landscape. The grant is open to many different ideas, and we welcome any ideas that impact tourism. Projects funded through the program should be well-developed, with a strong plan outlining how they will be executed and maintained. A key focus of the grant is to support efforts that will have a lasting impact on tourism in Logan County. This could mean projects that improve navigation for visitors, create inviting spaces, enhance public art, or contribute to making local attractions more engaging. “Tourism plays a major role in our local economy, and we want to support projects that not only attract visitors but also leave a lasting impact,” Louden added. “This funding is an investment in making Logan County a more welcoming and engaging place for those who come to experience all we have to offer.” All submitted applications will be reviewed by the Logan County Visitors Bureau Council. Grant applications are reviewed twice a year, with the next deadline on May 14th. The second round will occur later in the year with a deadline of November 14th. A detailed project plan, including a timeline, budget, and supporting documents, is required for consideration. Interested applicants are encouraged to think creatively about how their project can enhance the visitor experience and contribute to the overall appeal of Logan County as a destination.
