Logan County Senior Day to Celebrate Older Americans Month on May 28

In celebration of Older Americans Month, Logan County Job & Family Services will host Logan County Senior Day on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1 Hunter Place in Bellefontaine.

This year’s theme, “Flip the Script on Aging,” recognizes the diverse experiences and contributions of older adults in the community. The event promises an afternoon of celebration, connection, and appreciation.

For just $5, guests can enjoy a delicious catered lunch from Where There’s Smoke. Lunch tickets can be purchased in​

advance at two locations:

Highlights of the day include:

• A ceremony honoring the Outstanding Senior of the Year
• Dozens of local resource providers ready to share helpful services and information
• Live entertainment by the Muleskinner Band​

The event is made possible by sponsors and partners including Buckeye State Credit Union, Mary Rutan Health, United Way of Logan County, Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Indian Lake Chamber of Commerce, and the Tri-County Community Action Commission of Champaign, Logan, and Shelby Counties.
