Logan County Education Foundation Introduces New Scholarships for High School Seniors

Logan County high school seniors now have even more opportunities to achieve their educational goals thanks to the addition of several new scholarships. These awards highlight the community’s commitment to investing in the future of its students.

New Scholarships for 2025:

• BHS Class of 1975 Scholarship: $500 for Bellefontaine HS seniors with a 2.5 GPA, attending a training, technical school, or a 2- or 4-year institution.

• Connie Barr/Tony Agner Nursing Scholarship: $1,000 for students with a 2.5 GPA, good character, financial need, and pursuing a nursing-related degree.
• Logan County Education Foundation Scholarship: $2,000 for seniors at Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, and Riverside, with a 3.5 GPA, 2- or 4-year college plans, and successful completion of at least two AP or College Prep courses.
• Riverside Scholarship: $5,000 for Riverside seniors with a 2.5 GPA, preference for Christian applicants with financial need.
• Dwight & Jane Reed Family Scholarship: Five $2,000 scholarships for Indian Lake seniors with a 3.0 GPA, financial need, and plans to study education or trade-related degrees at a 2- or 4-year institution.
• Robert E. Smith Memorial Scholarship: $500 for Indian Lake seniors pursuing a degree in agriculture at a 4-year school.
• Jerry Ritter Family Scholarship: $1,000 for Bellefontaine HS seniors pursuing a business degree with a 3.0 GPA at a 2- or 4-year institution.
