Doris Hager emerged as the lucky winner of this year’s reverse raffle. The funds raised are earmarked to enhance the agricultural landscape for the youth of Logan County through mini-grants for classrooms and clubs, larger project grants, and scholarships aimed at fostering their involvement in agriculture.
To date, the initiative has contributed nearly $60,000 towards these educational and developmental programs, underlining the Farm Bureau’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of agricultural professionals. Additionally, this year's raffle took a compassionate turn by supporting the community in times of need. The proceeds from the sale of the 250th ticket, amounting to $2,400, were dedicated to the Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund, with the Logan County Farm Bureau adding another $1,000 to aid relief efforts. The success of the event was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of several local businesses and individuals. Notable sponsors and donors included Stembles Meat, Bambauer Fertilizer & Seed, Nate’s Nectar, Farm Credit Mid-America, Angle’s Nursery and Landscaping, Koenig Equipment, and many more. The Logan County Farm Bureau extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and contributed to the raffle, reinforcing the spirit of community and the shared goal of advancing local agriculture and support during challenging times.
