Lakeview Branch Library to Reopen After Tornado Damage

The Lakeview Branch Library is set to reopen after being closed for five months due to catastrophic damage caused by the Category 3 tornado that struck on March 14, 2024. The library will now operate from a new temporary location at 165 E Lake Street, Unit B, in Lakeview, next to the Osgood Bank.

To mark this significant milestone, the library is hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, August 22, from 5 to 8 PM. The public is warmly invited to attend, explore the new space, and join in the festivities.
