Name: Kate Myers Parents: Kris and Christy Myers Address: Bellefontaine School activities and awards: 4 Years Varsity Golf Team, 4 Years Varsity Swim Team, 3 Years Section Leader in Marching Band, 1 Year Section Leader in Concert Band, 2 Years Section Leader in Symphonic Band, Pep Band, 1 Year Section Leader in Orchestra, President of DARE, Vice President of National Honor Society, and Interact Club. If I were principal for a day: I would take the school on a field trip to Cedar Point. Favorite school memory: Going to districts for swim the past couple of years. It's always so much fun and it's a good representation of the work that I put in to swim. People who have been an inspiration to me: My parents have been a huge inspiration to me. They have taught me to always work hard and to be kind. They are supportive in everything I do and watching them achieve their goals has shown me how to be successful and how to work hard to achieve what I can. Lately I’ve been reading: Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell. My advice to parents: Don't be too hard on your kids. Always motivate and be there for them. Push them to be their best and achieve the most they can. Always encourage your kids to go out and have fun, too. My biggest regret: I never thought that I would have the regrets like seniors before me, but I started to try more activities as I got better at managing my time. I do regret not doing the school musicals, and I wish I would have tried throwing for track sooner as well. Next year: I plan to attend Bowling Green State University to major in biology and minor in business to later attend optometry school. YOU Matter. Call or Text 988.
