Get Ready for Free Comic Book Day at Knowlton Library on May 3

Superheroes, soda floats, and free comics? It’s all happening on Saturday, May 3, 2025, during Free Comic Book Day at the Knowlton Library in Bellefontaine!

Hosted by Logan County Libraries, the celebration will take place in the Goodrich Community Room from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to all ages. Attendees will receive free comic books while supplies last, along with opportunities to enjoy fun comic-themed activities and cotton candy.

To make the day even sweeter, Mama D’s Soda Shoppe will be on site with shaved ice, sodas, and floats—perfect for a treat while browsing new reads or diving into a superhero story.

Free Comic Book Day is an annual nationwide event that promotes literacy, encourages library visits, and connects readers of all ages to the excitement of comics and graphic novels. Logan County Libraries is proud to bring this celebration to the community once again.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the world of comics, this event promises something for everyone—so grab your cape and head to the library!
