Parents in Logan County who are concerned about their child’s development are encouraged to take advantage of free child screenings this fall. Logan County Family and Children First Council, in collaboration with the Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, is offering developmental screenings for children residing in Logan County.
The screenings will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Early Intervention (Discovery Center), located at 1973 OH-47 West, Bellefontaine, OH. This opportunity is available for children from birth through Pre-K who are not currently enrolled in an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Early Intervention services. Parents who wish to have their child screened can schedule a screening by calling Early Intervention at 937-292-3065. The screenings are designed to help parents understand their child’s developmental progress and address any concerns early on. This initiative is part of Logan County’s ongoing efforts to support families and ensure that children have access to the services they need for healthy development.
