Emergency Warming Shelter Seeks Volunteers to Serve During Cold Snap

Logan County, OH – With temperatures expected to plummet below 20 degrees, the Emergency Warming Shelter at Bellefontaine First Church of God is being activated to provide a safe haven for those in need.

Located at 1000 E. Brown Avenue, the shelter operates under the guidelines outlined in the flyer and offers intake hours from 7 PM to 9 PM. However, the warming shelter urgently requires overnight volunteers to ensure it can remain operational throughout the night.

Volunteer Details

• Shifts: 9 PM – 6 AM
• Duties: Assisting with shelter operations, ensuring safety, and providing support to those seeking warmth.
