Downtown Lakeview to Host “Salute to Service” on May 22 as Part of Fourth Thursdays Series

​The Village of Lakeview is gearing up for an evening of community appreciation and entertainment with its upcoming Fourth Thursdays event on May 22 from 5–8 p.m. in Downtown Lakeview. This month’s theme, “Salute to Service,” will honor local first responders and service members for their dedication to the community.

​Sponsored by Osgood Bank, the event promises fun for the whole family, featuring live music by Turning Point Band, food trucks, games, family-friendly entertainment, and plenty of shopping opportunities.

As part of the festivities, guests are encouraged to pick up a shopping passport from participating businesses. Those who complete the passport by visiting multiple stores will be eligible to win prizes throughout the night.

“Salute to Service” is one of several themed evenings planned for the Fourth Thursdays in Downtown Lakeview series, which aims to bring residents together and support local businesses. Attendees will enjoy a festive small-town atmosphere while expressing gratitude to those who serve and protect the community.

A sneak peek of next month’s Fourth Thursday has also been announced: Thursday, June 26 will feature a Cookie Walk, giving visitors another sweet reason to return downtown.
