Downtown Bellefontaine Pumpkin Barrel Scavenger Hunt Now Underway

Get ready for a spooktacular adventure! The Downtown Bellefontaine Pumpkin Barrel Scavenger Hunt is happening now through Halloween, offering families and friends a fun and interactive way to explore downtown. Presented by Small Nation and Decode Zone, this seasonal scavenger hunt invites participants to discover uniquely named and decorated jack-o’-lantern barrels placed throughout the downtown area. 

​Participants can pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the front or back of the Main Street Marketplace, located at 130 S. Main St., or print one online. Each pumpkin barrel in Downtown Bellefontaine has a unique name and story. As participants explore the area, they’ll visit each barrel, read its story, and try to match the riddles on the scavenger hunt sheet to the corresponding barrels. Once the sheet is completed, it can be submitted in the drop boxes at the Marketplace.

Every participant who completes the scavenger hunt will receive $5 off their next booking per person at Decode Zone, located downstairs in the Main Street Marketplace. Participants must be 16 or older to make a booking. In addition, one lucky participant will win a Downtown Bellefontaine gift basket, filled with a variety of treats and surprises from local businesses.
