Discovery Riders Seeks Volunteers to Support Equine-Assisted Therapy Programs

Do you love horses and want to make a meaningful impact in your community? Discovery Riders, a non-profit therapeutic riding center located just outside Bellefontaine, is looking for compassionate and committed volunteers to join their team.

Serving children and adults with a range of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs, Discovery Riders uses the power of horses to help individuals build confidence, improve mobility, and gain independence through equine-assisted therapy. Volunteers play a crucial role in making these life-changing experiences possible.

• Barn Volunteers assist with horse care and stable maintenance.
• Class Volunteers help during riding sessions, either as side-walkers or horse leaders.
• Fundraising Volunteers support events and help raise vital funds to sustain programs.
