Community Markets' Donation Boosts United Way’s Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund

United Way's Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund has now exceeded $1.5 million in donations, thanks to a generous contribution from Community Markets. The organization presented United Way with a check for $26,053 today, representing the "point-of-sale gifts" customers made while checking out in stores across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky since the devastating March 14 storm.

​To date, United Way has provided direct support totaling $1,197,566.71 to 455 affected families. This crucial assistance has been instrumental in helping families recover and rebuild their lives after the tornado.

Families who have not yet received support can still apply for assistance through May 31. Applications can be made by calling United Way at 937-592-2886 or online at www.uwlogan.org.
