“Color Our World” Youth Art Series Returns to Knowlton Library This Summer

Logan County Libraries is inviting young artists to get creative and messy this summer with its “Color Our World” youth program. Designed for children entering 1st through 6th grades, this hands-on art series runs every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Goodrich Community Room at Knowlton Library, starting June 11.

Each week will introduce a new artistic theme and medium, giving children a chance to learn, explore, and create something unique to take home. Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their children after the one-hour session.

June Schedule:

• June 11: Printmaking Art
• June 18: Shadow Puppet Art
• June 25: Recycle Art

July Schedule:

• July 9: Painting Art
• July 16: Squishy Art
• July 23: Food Art

The program is free, but registration is required, and kids are encouraged to “dress for the mess,” as many sessions will include paint and other creative materials.
