School Activities and Awards
Activities with awards included per activity in parentheses: Soccer (2 Year Varsity Letterer, Booster Award, CBC Honorable Mention, 3rd Team All District, Elected Captain, CBC Scholar Athlete, CBC Academic Excellence), Track ([so far] 2 varsity letters), Marching Band, Jazz Band (3 Year Soloist), Symphonic Band, Pep Band, Quizbowl (recently qualified for Nationals as a team), NHS (elected Recorder/Secretary) People who have been an inspiration to me & why... My dad because he taught me how to communicate as an adult and to lead as he had led many times in his life. Mr. Steinbarger because he is insanely intelligent and his class fueled my love and curiosity for science. Last but not least, Mrs. Coburn for showing to everyone she teaches how to be a kind person and to be strict when it is necessary, as well as being a comforting teacher for all. Lately I have been reading... Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy My advice to parents... Be understanding of the difficulty levels of the classes their kids are in. They usually aren’t lying about that. My biggest regret... Getting a B+ in Algebra in 8th grade. Next year I will be... In college, hopefully at the OSU main campus, studying Biology as my major.
