Name: Braylon Newcomb
Parents: Blake and Ebony Newcomb Address: Bellefontaine School activities and awards: Football and Basketball. First Team CBC, First Team Southwest District, and First Team All-Ohio in Football. If I were principal for a day: I would let the phones slide. Favorite school memory: In my first game playing as a Chieftain, I broke the school record for receiving yards in a game with 235 yards and 13 receptions. People who have been an inspiration to me: God and my family. Lately I’ve been reading: The Cat in the Hat. My advice to parents: Stay involved in your kids’ lives to build discipline and all the tools you need to set your kids up for success. My biggest regret: Not taking advantage of the time that was given to me. Time is one of your most precious possessions you have, and when I was a freshman when they told me it would be over in a flash, and you won’t realize it until you’re there. They meant everything they said. I wish I could have really soaked it in a little more. Next year: I will be attending Eastern Kentucky University to study sports psychology and play football.
