Blaine Mitchell Earns BHS Senior of the Month

School activities and awards: Les Fons, Marching Band, Swim Team, Symphonic Choir, Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Pep Band, Orchestra, Concert Band, Musical, and National Honor Society.

If I were principal for a day: I would have a big dodgeball tournament then leave school early.

Favorite school memory: The time we got stuck in the school during the tornado and looked at old yearbooks in the library.

People who have been an inspiration to me: My music directors and my dad and sister.

Lately I’ve been reading: The Bible.

My advice to parents: Let your kids do as many things as possible while in high school. It will let them learn new skills and make very close relationships with friends and coaches.

My biggest regret: Not swimming my freshman year.

​Next year: I will be attending an undecided college majoring in music education with a specialization in trumpet.
