Other requirements include a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and a minimum of 6 hours of community service each year in high school. Henry, who graduated from BHS in 2011, shared how a phrase he uses as an educator applies to lifelong learning. Mr. Henry is known for telling his choir students, “You don’t know what you don’t know until you know that you don’t know it. And once you know that you don’t know it, work until you do.” Henry said this mindset is his motivation for his teaching and how he lives his life. He added, “I encourage the inductees to find the areas they can improve on to make their society and their circle of influence a little bit better.” Michelle Rohrer is the Bellefontaine NHS advisor.
