Benjamin Logan Volleyball Teams Advance in CBC Tournament

The Benjamin Logan 7th and 8th-grade volleyball teams secured victories in their first-round CBC tournament matches, advancing to the next rounds.

​7th Grade Recap:
The 7th-grade Lady Raiders defeated the Shawnee Braves to move on to the quarter-finals against London, set for Monday at 5:30 pm. The team displayed a strong performance, with Josie Harshfield serving up 6 aces. Michealee Hoge dominated with 8 aces and 4 kills, while Maci Stafford contributed 8 aces, 5 assists, and 3 kills. Della Baker added 2 aces, 4 assists, and 2 kills, and Mileigh Carroll clinched 2 critical points at the serving line. A fantastic win for the Lady Raiders!

8th Grade Recap:
The 8th-grade team defeated Bellefontaine in straight sets, 25-13, 25-15. Summer Cline led the offense with an impressive 17 kills, while Brielle Kline and Marley Shields added 3 and 2 kills, respectively. Marley Shields also excelled at the service line, scoring 11 points with 4 aces, and Maddie Stahl contributed 7 points and 4 aces. The 8th graders will play again on Monday at North Union.
