Benjamin Logan Junior High Football Teams Secure Wins Over North Union

The Benjamin Logan junior high football teams came out on top against North Union, with both the 7th and 8th-grade teams claiming victories.

7th Grade Recap:
The 7th-grade Raiders defeated North Union 22-8, showcasing a strong offensive and defensive performance.

8th Grade Recap:
In a close match, the 8th-grade Raiders edged out North Union 24-18. Rhett Newman led the offense with an impressive 212 yards and 3 touchdowns. Emerson Carpenter added 25 yards, while Gabe Predmore and Brock Bates each contributed 16 yards. Quarterback Colton Little completed 4 of 8 passes for 21 yards.

Defensively, the Raiders made a crucial 4th down stop late in the 4th quarter to secure the win. Carrick Spriggs led the defense with 16 tackles, Emerson Carpenter added 11 tackles, and Gabe Predmore had 5 tackles. AJ Bergman also made a key interception.
