Benjamin Logan Jazz Band Shines at Essentially Ellington Regional Festival

The Benjamin Logan High School Jazz Band recently took center stage at the 2025 Essentially Ellington Regional Jazz Festival, held at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.

This prestigious festival, created by Jazz at Lincoln Center, celebrates the legacy of Duke Ellington and encourages young musicians to explore jazz’s rich history.

Participants performed, received expert feedback, and attended workshops led by top jazz educators and musicians.

Under the leadership of Myles Bowers, the Benjamin Logan Jazz Band delivered an impressive performance, earning praise from adjudicators. Additionally, four student soloists were recognized for their outstanding performances:
