Benjamin Logan 7th & 8th Grade Teams Dominate Northwestern in Straight Sets

The Benjamin Logan 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams secured impressive victories against Northwestern on Monday night, both winning their matches in straight sets.

In the 7th-grade game, the Raiders triumphed with scores of 25-10 and 25-17, powered by an outstanding serving performance. Molly Titlow led the charge with 8 aces, followed closely by Della Baker, who contributed 7 aces of her own. Maci Stafford added 4 aces, while Michaelee Hoge and Josie Harshfield chipped in with 3 aces apiece. Amelia Marmon added 2 kills, and Ruby Johns, Jenna Reidmiller, and Mileigh Carroll anchored the defense with 2 digs each in the back row.

The 8th-grade team kept the momentum going, defeating Northwestern 25-16 and 25-17. Marley Shields delivered a stellar all-around performance, racking up 10 service points, 3 aces, 3 kills, and 10 assists. Summer Cline also shined, tallying 10 kills, 10 points, and 6 aces. Olive Grimes and Brielle Kline each recorded 3 kills, with Layla Coleman and Zoey Dean adding 1 kill each to round out the team’s strong offensive showing.
