On defense, Ruby Johns led with 5 digs, with Josie Harshfield adding 3 digs, and Marley Snoke, Jenna Reidmiller, and Zaley Burnside each contributing 1 dig. The team has shown tremendous growth this season, and their coach is excited to see what the future holds as they move on to 8th grade.
The 8th grade team also faced a tough battle, falling in two closely contested sets, 21-25 and 24-26, against North Union. Despite the loss, the team demonstrated great improvement and teamwork throughout the season. The coach is eager to see these girls continue to develop both as volleyball players and young women as they transition to high school next year. Both teams have had an incredible season, full of learning, growth, and memorable moments. Go Lady Raiders! Not receiving our content regularly?
