Bellefontaine High School Set to Celebrate Homecoming with Parade, Pep Rally, and Festivities10/1/2024
Bellefontaine High School is gearing up for an exciting weekend of homecoming celebrations, starting with a parade and pep rally on Thursday evening. The homecoming parade will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Chillicothe Avenue. The route will proceed south, turn onto Washington Avenue, and make its way into AcuSport Stadium via Harding Street. The parade will feature all fall athletic teams, select school clubs, the BHS Marching Band, and the homecoming court. The homecoming court includes the following attendants and king/queen candidates: Chloe Stolly - Junior Attendant Ella Fultz - Sophomore Attendant Sloan Stolly - Freshman Attendant Hunter Kerns, Tavien St. Clair, Braylon Newcomb - King Candidates Ava Campbell, Kate Myers, Ava Reeves - Queen Candidates Following the parade, a community pep rally will take place at approximately 7 p.m. inside the stadium, energizing fans ahead of the homecoming football game. The homecoming queen will be announced during the pregame festivities on Friday night, while the king will be crowned at the homecoming dance on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Additionally, the Bellefontaine Police Department will host a tailgate party on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Blue Jacket Park, offering free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and water while supplies last. The tailgate will include games, bounce houses, law enforcement equipment displays, and giveaways. The homecoming court includes the following attendants and king/queen candidates:
